The Power of E3: Embrace, Educate, Elevate
Have you heard of the Credit Unionverse, where everything is possible, and your financial dreams come true? This Holiday Season and beyond, we will be sharing “The Power of Three Es,” a magical story of Shawn and Maisa, a SuperGirl with E3 powers (Embrace, Educate, Elevate) who hails from the Credit Unionverse.
Maisa uses her E3 power to transform lives and improve financial well-being. On Earth, she’s known as Maisa “The Empowerer” or mPow. During one of her missions, she lands in Landover, MD and meets Shawn, an ambitious teenager, who joins her on a journey of financial empowerment and education.
What is even more exciting, this story is being created by the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and even a stronger power – kids’ imagination. We are working with the students from our partner schools in Maryland and Washington, DC to build this story and share it with our members and the world at large!
Our campaign helps students understand financial literacy, sparking their curiosity and creativity. We’re making finance fun through a story and interactive games that reinforce financial lessons. Join our project today – contact our team at: foundation@fedchoice.org

Launching the Power of E3
On December 22, 2023, Andrey Gidaspov, FedChoice Charitable Foundation Executive Director of the FedChoice Charitable Foundation, had an incredible opportunity to engage with the amazing students and teachers at Cora L. Rice Elementary School.
Together, they embarked on a new journey, launching “The Power of E3” project. This initiative combines creativity, imagination, and financial literacy in a fun and engaging way. The energy and enthusiasm were palpable, making the experience truly unforgettable!
Inspiring Stories
Shawn, with his fantastic creativity, imagination, and boundless optimism, inspired us to launch “The Power of E3” project. He is on the verge of completing his first savings project, aiming to get his PS4 in 2024! Shawn also taught Andrey how to fly. Literally.
Edward, an aspiring artist, reminds us of the importance of dreaming big. He eagerly awaits the day when he can pursue his passion full time. He also understands the significance of saving and budgeting and has already started working on his monthly budget.
Rebecca, with her love for all things creative, aspires to be a designer. McKayla, on the other hand, is saving for a Tesla and is keen to learn how to start a company!

Expanding the Power of E3
On January 10, 2024, we shared our “Power of E3” project with a vibrant group of middle schoolers, members of The Millionaire’s Club at School Without Walls in Washington, DC. During the session, the students celebrated their newfound understanding of credit unions and shared numerous ideas on how they can make a positive impact on their communities. One student even said, “Credit Unions are the real superheroes! They help our communities to live a better life.”
It’s inspiring to see young minds come together and recognize the power of financial literacy. We also inspired the students to envision how saving, budgeting, and investing can lay the foundation for a secure financial future.
